Taher is currently Heading the Technology Transformation and Innovation
at Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), after Heading the Treasury (Capital Markets)
Banking Technology Department.
Prior to joining SAB, Taher spent a decade based in France working for a market
leader of Financial Software for Capital Market, helping several international
banks to transform their Capital Markets businesses across the globe.
Taher is a true believer in Digital, Innovation and Technology as Business Enablers
and a Force for Good. He is a serial Angel Investor, Advisor, Board member, Mentor and
Coach to Entrepreneurs through different organizations and geographies, including
Fintechs, Open banking player and Web3/Blockchain startups.
Taher holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore), a Master
Degree in Financial engineering and Technology from SKEMA Business School (France)
and a Bachelor in Business studies with a major in Finance from IHEC
Carthage University (Tunis).
